6. I have a lump in my breast, do I have breast cancer?
Generally, when you feel a lump in your breasts, it is not breast cancer. There are many noncancerous lumps that women feel that are benign, most commonly, benign cysts and fibroadenomas, and fibrocystic changes in the breast. If your doctor is uncertain, a mammogram or sonogram can tell whether or not the lesion is solid or cystic. A solid lesion generally should be removed by a breast surgeon.Leave a reply →
